Crown Green Bowls in Derby

Crown green bowls is a traditional outdoor sport played on a slightly raised, domed green, which distinguishes it from flat green bowls. The club at Nunsfield House carries on this pastime under the management of Alvaston and Boulton Bowls Club, providing a facility for players in this corner of Derby. The Alvaston area lies to the south-east of the city centre, within relatively easy reach of the A6 corridor that runs through that part of Derby.
